Well, what a week it has been! My mom is in a care center after falling and breaking her leg (again) bless her! She's a bit disoriented and out of it and we're not quite sure why. Right now we're not entirely sure what the plan is so we're trying to take it one day at a time. Stressful times make me think about the good things in my life. Sadly, I don't tend to appreciate them as much until they are gone or threatened. I should probably work on that. :) I'm particularly thankful for good people who just "get it" without much explanation. These are the people who let you talk too much when you need to. The people who don't get offended if you don't call back right away. The people who will swear for you when you really feel the words need to be said. (I think everybody should have a friend like this - they're quiet usefull!!) The people who support you in hiding in the basement when the doorbell rings so you don't have to tell the story AGAIN!! The people who will go shopping and buy new clothes to help you cope. The people who will cry with you - and then laugh followed by more tears . . . But mostly, the people who will pray for you. I am so thankful for the prayers of family and friends!! I can't remember a time in my life when I've felt and known so distinctly that people are praying for our family. What a wonderful thing! Heavenly Father truly answers prayers!

Oh Kayla, I"m so glad you started a blog. And I'm so glad I got to see you the other day. You (and your family) are indeed in my prayers. Hope things get a little better. Sure love you! (And sorry I'm not one of those friends that will say the bad words for you.)
Yay! Kayla's in the blogworld!
So glad.
And I second Heath. We are definitely praying for you. So much love. And we are playing at Christmas time. Period.
