Register Clan Gathering 2008

Have you ever had experiences in your life that are really really really great for SO many reasons that you really can't put into words? That's what this past week was for me.

I can't remember a time when I was so upset and emotional about coming home from a vacation. I can't remember a time when there were so many things broken in such a short amount of time. I can't remember a time when so many of the Register males were in one place. I can't remember a time when I laughed so hard at so many insults directed my way.

I'm thankful for cousins - whatever kind. I'm thankful for similarities in childhoods and shared traditions. It's a wonderful feeling to feel as if you KNOW someone when you've only met them a few times. I'm grateful for the eternal nature of families. I'm thankful that I have the chance to love people so that it makes my heart hurt.

I don't know what else to say. It's hard to put some feelings and thoughts into words, isn't it?

What do you call a register vacation? Registration! I love your blog b/c it always has lots of words about how Kayla is doing...not just events, but ponderings and what not. We love you Kayla

Great pictures. It sounds like a great time. I am glad you got back safe... I share your same feelings as far as the cousins go. I have tons of cousins and even though we have never lived in the same country or state I have a closeness with them that is unreal. Eternal Families are the best, we just have to work really hard to keep them that way. :)
