My best friend had her baby today. He's lovely and I love him. As I was leaving the hospital tonight I was a bit emotional. I can't really pin point what the reasons are. I know that I'm proud of Emily and Carlos. I love them and their wee little laddie. I think that part of me was a bit sad about the reality that I'm "growing up." It's a weird thought. I'm grateful for the great times I've had with Emily and Carlos. I'm thankful for the time tonight to reflect on the growing up we've done together and what is yet to come.
