Happy Christmas!!
Can I tell you how much I have been loving this Christmas season? My shopping is nowhere near done, I have no idea what to get most people on my list - hence the shopping not being done, I'm not sure I passed all of my classes (yeah, I really don't want to think about that one . . .), my feet have been cold since Thanksgiving and I haven't even sent out my Christmas cards. And yet, inspite of it all, I'm just loving it! I've been trying to focus more on the Savior this Christmas. I know, I know - it's a pretty simple thing but it has made all the difference for me. I'm thankful for the Savior's birth and the chance we have to celebrate that at this time of year. I'm also thankful for the opportunity I have had this season to reflect upon friends and family whom I love and who have made a huge difference in my life. Yay for Christmas!!!

I love you, Kayla. Focusing on Christ does make all the difference - and it is a "simple thing" that's really easy NOT to do!!! So often (Christmas time included) I complicate my life almost on purpose, thinking that joy will be found in activity and accomplishment. But it's not! It's found in quietness and reflection and STILLNESS.
Great post, my dear. Merry Christmas season to you! (will we see each other over the break?? Maybe post Christmas???)
